at new apt

there was a big cockroach in my apt last night(@_@)
i paid $145 for insectcide service, but it didnt work?????
i might have brought it from old apt. the color was brown tho.
wat a nightmareee~!!!!!!

so i took a spray & bath towel.
am not gonna make same mistake!
if it flies, i wud beat it...

it didnt fly at this time, but went straight to my bed!!!!!!!! (>_<)
OH NOT IN THE BLANKET!!!!!!

then i noticed that i had sprayed deodorant for shoes....lol
the insectcide was a red can, and i was holding a blue can.

so.....who wants to sleep with roach???
thanx deodorant the roach was not dead but looked very weak.
so i wrapped it with towel and threw away from veranda.
my bed smelt funny the whole night....*sigh*

whoooa! finally finished moving.
i had to call the common facility companies to stop gas, electricity, water service today. and pay the rest of bill....
the prob is they cant fix time exactly. their choice is 9-12am,1-3pm, 3-5pm. and i have to wait for them in the empty room(>_<)
last time i had made a big mistake. stopped electricity first, so other staff couldnt call the intercom. i couldnt unlock the security door in the entrance too.
so im hoping that electricity company will come at the end.
the water company boy was a trouble today! he called me 2 times, requested to change the time to 1-3pm from 3-5pm.
then after an hour he called me again, requested to change to 11am....lol
so i told him hell NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
customer service sucks nowadays.

pink pink...

the climax of moving apartment.
i could move yesterday, but....(@_@)
the transport company boy had opened the fire extinguisher by mistake!!
he tried to hold the door with it, and dropped the pin on the neck.
then awfuuuuul pink smoke like dry ice came out!!!!

shortly my shoes, furnitures, floor, and all became hell pink~(^o^);;
the hallways were covered with pink powder....from 4th floor to 2nd floor.
and our throats were paining...!!!
my landlord on the ground was screaming "wat the hell is happening there??"

i called the fire dept. they said we should sweep them with brooms & wet towels patiently!!!!

and yes i did!! after moving, i went back to the old apt and cleaned the mess till evening.(>o<)
it is still pink. cant wipe them off completely!!
the boy apologized to my landlord and left his contact no. and name.
but he cleaned only an hour and half, didnt seem responsible.....lol

dunno if his company will pay money for the damage and refill of the extinguisher...*sigh*

it took 1 hour and 10 mins to sign the contract of new apartment.
i went to the real estate agent, which is original renter located in shinjuku.
there were 2 handsome guys at the counter. and they kept reading a lota documents(=_=) contract, agereement, insurance, privacy policy and something.
veeery boring!!
"any question??" they asked after reading each doc.

"u said the owner of apt is this Ayako Onishi and i cant get deposit money back if she die, right?? what is she doing? is she old or young?"

"i dont know", one guy said.
"huh?? how abt u? u dont know anything abt the owner??"
"saaaa..." (means i dont know in japanese)
the other guy was juz smiling like an innocent kid...(^o^);;


"okay then. theres no parking lot. i need to bring 2 ton truck. where can we stop the car??"

"saaaa...."

"have u ever seen that apartment??" i cried out.

"nooooo" lololol

they asked me to wait for the manager in front of the room at 2pm. but he came at 2:20pm.

as soon as he arrived, he replaced a new keyhole and gave me a key.
then tried to sell a side key for abt $140. UGHHHH.
he was sooo persistent, repeated the words, "Juz for ur security!!!" and it seemed there was no way to stop him(=_=)

fortunately, i was getting stomachache, had to go to toilet.

so honestly told him that i had sushi in shinjuku, but the squid tasted weird etc...
at last he gave up talking and left with crook smile.
yay!!!!!(^o^)//
im gonna move from now on.

today i had to transfer money to the real estate agent.
the bill was equal to 7.3 month rent.
(this is the nightmare of tokyo housing!!!!)
i looked at the balance in the bank book and cried(>_<)

the detail is:

2 months key money.... kinda thank u money for the landlord.
2 months deposit
1.3 months commission....to the agent
1.5 months rent in advance
$190 ..... the price of new key
$190 ..... insurance
$145 ..... insectcide

i dont really need this f_$%&# insectcide!!!!!
but... which is better??? (buzz sounds on ur head, or $145)(^o^);;;

btw, i think my neighbours are thinking that im insane.
they seem to avoid talking to me.
u know why??
cuz i screamed and jumped around, when the helicopter roach attacked my head that night.*sigh*

had wonderful conversations with a transporting company girl.

i called them previously.
three cute boys like SMAP(singers) came over and achieved beautiful team play(^-^)
as i dont have a lift in my apt bldg, they stood on each floor;

first one (looks like takuya kimura) stood on the ground floor
second one (goro) on the second floor
third one (nakai) on the third floor
me on the forth floor

we passed furnitures & boxes at each floor and completed very quickly!
so, i thought it might be good idea to call them again.

the girl was glad to receive repeater's phone call.
she said,
"u can choose date & time as u like. and its only 30000yen (abt US$270), same with previous fee."

so i booked 23th(holiday).
she said thanx hundred times in beautiful voice.
wat a lovely girl!!!(*^o^*)

after hanged up the receiver, i remembered that previous amount included disposal fee of old fridge, which was awfully dirty cuz i left it on the porch for 6 yrs...lol

so, i called her again and asked for disposal of my desk.

her voice didnt sound beautiful any more....
she said i cannot choose date & time....(gotta move on the 21th!?).

"we will probably leave some stuff, so u should move them by yourself", she groaned

"why is that??"

"cuz i dont think we can put all ur stuff on the truck."

today my boss brought his daughter(3.y.o.) to our office. she said,
"lady! chair."
oh god..she started speaking english as she entered international school.
but i dont understand her english well(^o^);;
chair is pronounced like "cheaa" by japanese. cuz we have difficulty of listening "R" and "L". so i thought she was saying like "cha" or "chai"???
wat is thaaaaat?????
so my boss interpreted,
"she is calling u lady. and she wants u to bring chair for her." lololol

cute lil madam!!!!!!!

she played with me for a while. then fell asleep on my boss's lap.
he was doing email but holding her tight. then closed his eyes in peace.

jeezzz! my father is a typical japanese man who doesnt care abt family. so we never slept on father's lap.
i was sooo astonished. couldnt stop looking at them curiously until they left..(^-^);;;

my boss said he wud come to pick up my old desk with safi today.
but he didnt show up....((((^o^)
i knew he wont come. haha~!
he juz said that for consolation. cuz i was grieving that "my desk is too big for new apt. i should throw it away."
he also said that he wants to eat my home made cooking.
but i didnt cook anything.
(wat a nice relationship!)

he eats some japanese food, but my coworker safi is too much afraid of our food.
i tried to give him a candy before, which was sweet & sour plum candy.
"isnt there pork in it??" he said.
"of course not." i laughed my head off.
then he brought a canned spaghetti sauce which was napoli (tomato sauce), japanese brand.
"isnt there pork??" he asked again.
then i looked at the ingredients. "chicken soup stock" was written in japanese.
"u can have it". he said in despair...lol
according to him, the islamic center recommends only Georgia Canned Coffee, the brown & long one, in japan.
"other canned coffee contain animals." safi said.
"huh????"
(^o^);; the way he said "animals" was very cute. so we laughed so much, had bellyache.

gotta move

im hopefully moving outa here within this month.
my new apartment is only abt 3-4 blocks from here. and the rent will be abt USD600/month. much cheaper than wat im paying now. so i should be happy.
but i feel numb abt moving back to a tiny 1 room & kitchen apt.(>_<)
wat ive been doing these days is dump old stuff & furnitures. UGHHH
tried to sell some to the recycle shop guy, but failed.
instead he asked me $110 to take these things away, fridge, tv, video machine, 2 tables, mirror, chair, cupboards etc.
(govt of tokyo started this awful recycling law a couple yrs ago. we must pay a lota money to dump furnitures and big stuff. espclly fridges are nightmare, cost $60-$100 each.
the only good thing is that we can refund the recycling fee, when we export used cars(^o^)/ (the fee is paid by seller initially. but refundable by exporters if not domestic use). yaay!!

typhoon hit west japan. we juz had a super-windy & rainy day in tokyo. i had to cling to telephone poles on the way to work. however, the sky was dramatically beautiful in the evening(^^)/

im sorry for not being able to snap photo of japan these days. i will blog a snap of one day's ordinary meal. (steamed rice & vegie, deep fried fish, deep fried mashrooms, sausage & potatoes, salad, etc.) (^v^)
i like deep fried tuna(maguro tenpura) very much. not that big piece of tuna in the package. we use sashimi chuutoro (sliced fillet that can be eaten raw) at home. awwww~!!!! its sooooo damn tasty and soft like cotton.

this is the apt i wanted to move in. abt USD$620/ month. 1 room and kitchen, wooden, 15 m2 only. located in nice residential area. desperately waiting for cancellation(^o^);;

i was soooo upset today. a large cockroach was in the kitchen, very black and bigger than beatle.
i sprayed on it. then it suddenly flew like a bat and landed on my Head!!! awww~ (>__<) so i screamed and jumped up and down. beated my head with a t-shirt. haha~
cant forget that buzz..........
cant go to kitchen tonight.........!!!!
